Yay, the sleepless nights begin again.. I have a new daughter!

Kiera Amanda Anderson was born this Monday morning at 11:48, and is a joy to behold (though I may be somewhat biased ).

I also have a new toy - a Wacom Bamboo graphics tablet.

Hopefully this will make my wrist and elbow less sore, too, which was the major motivation for getting one. It's taking a bit of getting used to, but I'll persevere.

Argh! Too many deviations, not enough bandwidth!

I've finally got decent enough hardware to run my modelling and rendering software at acceptable (ie. not glacial) speeds, so expect to see a few more pics over the next few weeks.

Assuming, of course, that it doesn't do what it did tonight, which is fail to boot until I had gutted it and then plugged everything back in. Stupid computer.

Other than that, how is everyone?

Okay, so this is going to take a while to get through...

In unrelated news, I had a great weekend - I didn't leave the house at all! Which makes a wonderful change from the last few months. I managed to get a few things done that I hadn't had a chance to do in ages, such as build a media server for the loungeroom, catch up on my email backlog, sleep (!), stuff like that.

Ah well, another day, another 27 cents (+GST).
